For pets recovering from surgery, we implement strict movement protocols. Our staff physically lifts and carries dogs with mobility issues for potty breaks, and we use anti-slip mats across all tiled surfaces to prevent falls for those with weak, post-op legs. When a pet is healing, the environment matters as much as the medical care. At our Yelahanka and Bettahalasuru facilities, we manage the daily realities of post-surgery recovery so you don't have to worry. ### How we support recovery * **Medication & Diet:** We handle strict medication schedules and prepare custom soft diets, such as boiled chicken and rice or curd rice, to ensure your pet gets the nutrition they need without stomach upset. * **Mobility Assistance:** For geriatric guests or those with hip or leg injuries, our team provides physical lifting assistance for movement and potty breaks. * **Controlled Environments:** We provide isolation from high-energy groups to ensure your pet isn't bumped or stressed by other dogs. This allows them to focus entirely on resting. * **Constant Monitoring:** You receive video updates twice a day. We track everything from water intake and appetite to stool consistency, with protocols in place to alert you immediately if anything seems off. Whether your pet is recovering from a major procedure or simply needs a safe, clean place to handle a minor injury, we are equipped to support them. We believe in patience, so if your pet is anxious or needs a few days just to settle in before starting their full recovery routine, we provide the space and calm they need. ## About Play Pet Boarding We're not just a boarding facility, we're the place where your pet comes to heal. We get attached to every single one of them, which is why we’re always on alert for medication times and diet needs, treating every guest as if they were our own.
