## About Rare & Collector's Plants

When you bring home rare collector's plants like variegated Monsteras or White Wizard Philodendrons, light is everything. Unlike hardy indoor staples, these specimens are sensitive. We personally acclimatize every single rare plant at our Sewri nursery, ensuring they are sturdy, pest-free, and adjusted to local humidity before they reach your doorstep.

For collectors, it is not just about having a plant. It is about the hunt for unique patterns, variegation, and leaf structure. Whether you are chasing the high-contrast white of a Monstera Albo or the velvety texture of an Anthurium, you need plants that are healthy from the roots up.

### Why Rare Plants Need More Attention

Unlike standard Snake Plants or Aglaonemas that thrive on neglect, rare exotics are a bit more demanding.

* **Acclimatization:** We do not rush our plants. Every rare specimen spends time in our nursery to ensure it can handle the shift from our environment to yours.
* **Soil Quality:** You will not find basic garden soil in our rare pots. We use custom aroid mixes with bark and perlite, which ensures proper aeration and prevents root rot—the number one killer of expensive collector plants.
* **Support:** Climbing varieties like our Philodendrons are always secured on moss poles. This mimics their natural environment, encouraging larger, more mature leaf growth rather than small, stunted foliage.

### Shipping Your Green Babies

We know the fear of ordering a rare plant online. Will it arrive damaged? Will it go into shock? We ship our plants across India with specific packing techniques to minimize stress. If you are in the Mumbai Metropolitan Area, drop by the Sewri nursery to handpick your specimen. Seeing the variegation in person under natural light is a totally different experience than seeing it on a screen.
