We do not pick delicate varieties that need constant pampering. Instead, we use hardy, sun-loving plants like Bougainvillea or Areca Palms that handle Mumbai’s traffic and heat, ensuring your green patch stays lush without needing a full-time gardener on call. Public and commercial greening requires a different mindset compared to personal gardens. Unlike a balcony, these spaces are exposed to high foot traffic, vehicle exhaust, and the harsh afternoon sun. When we work on a society compound or a road divider, we focus on durability and visual impact. We typically use robust, fast-growing species that survive with minimal intervention. We have found that Bougainvillea, for instance, thrives in our climate and adds a burst of colour that changes with the season.
