Over the last four decades, that vision expanded into The Plant Festival, an event where we host thousands of visitors, collaborate with local nurseries, and organize everything from rare bonsai to kitchen garden kits. We do not just set up stalls, we design spaces that connect city dwellers with the earth, proving that even in a concrete jungle, a green oasis is always possible. ### Building a Green Legacy in Mumbai When we launched The Plant Festival, the goal was simple: to bring the nursery experience directly to the city. We wanted to move beyond just selling plants to building a community that values sustainability. Over 153 editions, we have evolved from a small initiative into a landmark event at locations like Phoenix Palladium, reaching thousands of families who are looking to add life to their homes. ### More Than Just a Market Our festivals are designed as comprehensive nature experiences. We organize workshops on composting, bonsai care, and kitchen gardening, ensuring that attendees walk away with more than just a purchase. Whether it is a rare succulent or a practical vegetable grow kit, every item is selected to help you nurture your own green space. ### Collaborative Growth Our journey is deeply intertwined with local partners. By collaborating with organizations like the I Love Mumbai Committee, we have managed to create a platform that supports small nurseries and eco-conscious businesses. For us, this is about providing a space where green businesses can get real face time with 70,000+ visitors per day, creating a cycle of growth that benefits both the vendor and the visitor. ### Why We Do It We believe that maintaining a garden is like taking care of a relationship. It requires patience, knowledge, and a lot of mud under your nails. Our mission remains the same as it was 40 years ago: to help you turn your balcony, desk, or office corner into a breathing space. We are here to guide you through watering schedules, fix your soil issues, and ensure your plants do more than just survive—they flourish. ## About Plantae World I am Shruti Sanghvi, and Plantae World is the living legacy my mother started 40 years ago. I took her passion for plants and turned it into a way for Mumbai to reconnect with nature, one festival and one landscape at a time.
