We trade screen time for sensory play, where getting messy with mud, flour, or paint isn't just allowed, it's encouraged as part of our learning-by-doing philosophy. We keep our batches small to ensure every child feels seen, whether they are a first-timer or a regular 'Pipian' joining us for the season. At Peas in Pod, we believe that childhood is too short to be spent indoors on tablets. Our 'Summer Camp Diaries' is a collection of moments where the focus is entirely on tactile learning and joy. ### Why our summer camp is different We don't just 'watch' kids. We engage them in themes that matter. From learning about nutrition by making their own fruit salads—complete with textures and tastes—to understanding life cycles through germination and leaf impression art, every activity has a purpose. ### The 'Messy' Philosophy We truly believe that if your child comes home clean, they didn't have enough fun. Our messy play sessions are the highlight of the week. Whether it is a foam and color fight or digging in the mud to find treasures, these activities are essential for sensory development and building physical confidence. We provide a safe, supervised environment where kids are free to express themselves without the pressure of being perfect. ### A Typical Camp Day: * **Morning Circle:** Welcoming the little explorers and setting the theme for the day. * **Active Engagement:** Hands-on activities like pottery, T-shirt spraying, or nature scavenger hunts. * **Sensory Play:** Getting hands dirty with sand, flour, or water games. * **Reflect & Share:** Recapping the day's lessons, because we believe every little achievement deserves a celebration. We focus on social development, so you'll see kids who started out shy quickly bonding with new friends during our group activities. We are here to nurture their curiosity, one summer day at a time. ## About Peas in Pod We are a team of educators who believe that learning happens best when kids are having fun.
