We don't just dress up; we bring the significance of these days to life for the children. Whether it is visiting a local temple to understand spirituality or making eco-friendly crafts to discuss cleanliness, we ensure every 'fun day' adds to their social and emotional growth. At Peas in Pod, we believe that children learn best when they are fully immersed in an experience. For us, cultural celebrations are a core part of our holistic development curriculum in Noida. ### Why We Celebrate Our festive activities are designed to go beyond the surface. We use these moments to teach: * **Empathy and Kindness:** During Rakshabandhan, we talk about the bond of protection and care. When we celebrate Janmashtami, we recreate stories like Krishna and Sudama to teach the true meaning of friendship. * **Environmental Responsibility:** Our 'Green Diwali' initiative teaches children the importance of celebrating without crackers, opting for diyas and nature-friendly decorations instead. * **Cultural Awareness:** From the colors of Holi to the stories of Ramayana on Dussehra, kids engage in role-play and circle time that helps them connect with their roots. ### A Typical Celebration It isn't just about the day itself. We start by discussing the story or theme in our circle time, followed by creative art sessions where kids make their own props or crafts. This hands-on approach keeps children excited and curious. We encourage parents to be a part of these moments whenever possible, making our preschool a real community space. Whether your child is in our playgroup or kindergarten program, they will find that learning culture is a joyful, messy, and loud affair here. It is how we build confidence, encourage public speaking through recitals, and ensure every child feels like they belong to a larger family. ## About Peas in Pod We aren't just teaching ABCs and 123s here. We are a family that believes festivals are the perfect time to build empathy and a love for our roots, all while making lifelong friends.
