It is in these scrimmages that they learn to trust teammates and bounce back from a missed shot, turning abstract concepts into genuine game sense. ### Beyond the Drills Basketball isn't played standing still. While dribbling and shooting are vital, the magic happens when those skills are applied in a real game. Our training at Modern Convent School, Abhinav Global School, and MRV School focuses on moving your child from 'learning to play' to 'playing to win.' ### What We Focus On * **Rule Literacy:** We introduce game rules like fouls, traveling, and out-of-bounds early. Knowing the rules makes a player smarter and more confident on the court. * **Court Spacing:** Learning where to stand is as important as learning how to move. We teach kids to recognize open spaces and find teammates. * **Resilience:** Every game has ups and downs. We encourage kids to *achhe se perform karo* (perform well) regardless of the score, focusing on effort and teamwork over just chasing trophies. ### Why Practice Matches Matter We integrate practice games into every session because that is where they build chemistry. Whether they are passing the ball to a new friend or setting up a play, these interactions build confidence that carries over into their school and personal lives. If you are looking for basketball coaching in Dwarka that values the 'we' over the 'me,' you have found the right spot. *Hai na?* We keep our groups small so every child gets to play, learn the rules, and get direct feedback from our coaches. ## About Pick Skills Basketball Academy I founded Pick Skills with one belief: basketball should build character, not just chase trophies. When I’m on the court at our Dwarka centers, my goal is to make sure every child learns to handle both the win and the loss with a smile. I am here to make sure your child feels that spark of confidence after every game.
