If you look closely at my work, you will see that I rarely use real ice, which melts in five minutes. Instead, I use glycerin spray and fake acrylic ice cubes to keep that chilled look for hours while we perfect the lighting and the angle of the glass. Beverage photography is tricky because liquids are dynamic. Unlike static products, drinks require specific handling to look appetizing rather than flat. I shoot using my home studio setup in Mumbai, utilizing a Sony Alpha series with a 90mm macro lens. This lens is crucial for picking up the fine texture of coffee grounds, the clarity of a soda, or the condensation on a can. My process for drinks like kombucha, tea, or energy drinks focuses on three things: clarity, light, and motion. For 'splash' shots, I build custom rigs using wires and acrylic rods to get that perfect fluid movement without making a mess that ruins the product. I also love playing with color, using textured backgrounds like tiling or wood to give your brand a unique mood. Whether you need top-down flat lays for social media, macro close-ups for packaging, or high-speed cinematic videos with ASMR sounds, I focus on the details that make the viewer thirsty. I do not aim for sterile, stock-photo perfection.
