We do not simply wash and dry; our protocol involves high-velocity dryers to reach the skin and loosen dead undercoat—essential for breeds like Huskies—so your pup stays cool and comfortable without the risk of skin issues. We take the extra time to ensure they feel safe during this high-intensity process, making sure they actually enjoy the grooming table rather than fearing it. ### Understanding Large Breed Needs Many pet parents don't realize that a German Shepherd or Husky needs more than just a quick brush. Their double coats are designed for insulation, and when not maintained properly, they can trap heat and dirt near the skin. At our Rajajinagar salon, we use a specific 3-stage hydrobath adapted for high-volume coats. This ensures the undercoat is loosened properly with conditioners, followed by a professional blowout that ensures the skin is 100% dry. This prevents the moisture buildup that often leads to hotspots and skin irritation. ### The Acclimatization Process For large breed puppies, the grooming environment can be overwhelming. We prioritize acclimatization. We don't rush into the haircut. We let your puppy sniff the salon, get used to the sound of the dryers, and receive plenty of positive reinforcement before we start the actual work. Whether it is nail clipping, ear flushing, or paw pad shaving for better grip, we work at your dog's pace. If your puppy is nervous, we adapt our approach to build trust first. ### Why Choose Us in Rajajinagar? - **Pro-Grade Products:** We use imported shampoos that are safe for sensitive puppy skin. - **Technical Precision:** We focus on outline trims for feathers and paws rather than reckless shaving, keeping your dog's coat healthy and functional. - **Hygiene Focus:** We include sanitary trims and ear cleaning as standard parts of our large breed packages, not add-ons. - **Health-First Approach:** We check the skin and coat condition during every session, helping you catch potential issues early. ## About Pets Forever At Pets Forever, we treat your giant breed puppy like one of our own.
