When I train your dog for indoor obedience, we focus heavily on 'Place' and 'Down-stay' commands, giving you a quiet corner when you have guests over and a relaxed companion by your side. Training at home is about more than just tricks. It is about building a rhythm where your dog understands the house rules. I focus on 'Science of Dog Training' principles—all positive, no force, just consistency. I see many dogs struggling with 'hyper-ness' simply because they do not have a defined job to do. During our sessions, we work on these practical skills: * **Place Command:** Teaching your dog to settle in their bed, even when you have guests or are working from home. * **Door Manners:** No more jumping on visitors. We practice calm greetings until your dog learns to wait patiently. * **Impulse Control:** We work on 'Leave it' for things on the floor and 'Stay' for when you are busy. Whether you have a high-energy Labrador or an Indian breed puppy, the method remains the same. We start with small wins, building their confidence until they learn to be calm by choice. For most pets, a 15-20 day consistent routine is usually enough to see a real shift in behaviour.
