If you want a year-round lounge, a glass-enclosed structure keeps the dust and rain out without blocking your view, while an open pergola is better for letting in the breeze. Before you commit to a design, we recommend visiting our Banaswadi experience centre to see the metal finish and glass quality for yourself. ### Planning for Longevity When you look through these designs, it is easy to focus only on the visual, but the structural integrity is what ensures your terrace remains a retreat for years to come. We use heavy-duty Mild Steel for our frameworks because it handles the fluctuating weather conditions in Bangalore far better than lighter alternatives. Every joint is welded using industrial TIG or MIG techniques, and we apply anti-rust epoxy primers and powder coating to prevent corrosion. ### Customization for Your Lifestyle The photos you see here are just starting points. Every project requires a different approach based on your specific requirements: * **For All-Weather Use:** We suggest a fully enclosed glass room with UPVC sliding systems. This creates a seal against dust and rain while maintaining a panoramic view. * **For Shaded Relaxation:** If you prefer airflow, an open pergola with a polycarbonate or toughened glass roof works well. You can pair this with laser-cut privacy screens or terracotta jali walls to control light and visibility. * **For Aesthetic Appeal:** Details like concealed electrical conduits for fans and lights, combined with artificial grass or composite decking, can turn a raw construction into a finished living space. ### The Execution Process We believe in a predictable project lifecycle. It starts with a site visit to take laser measurements, followed by 3D structural drawings so you can visualize the outcome before we cut any metal. Our installation teams handle the logistics of hoisting materials to your terrace, ensuring the site is clean and the structure is solid from day one. ## About Pergola Design We’ve been transforming empty Bangalore rooftops into private retreats since 2013. We don't just put up shades; we design steel structures meant to last for decades, ensuring every weld and finish is built to be used, not just admired.
