We believe in small, intimate batches where you get individual attention—even within a group setting. If you’re stuck on a particular shading technique or struggling with perspective, I’m right there to help you work through it until it clicks. It’s about building your confidence, one stroke at a time, at a pace that actually feels comfortable for you. ### Your Artistic Sanctuary Our Jayanagar studio isn't just a place to hold a class; it's a dedicated space designed for focus. With wooden desks and plenty of natural light, it’s built to help you disconnect from the rush of daily life. When you walk in, the goal is simple: find your sukoon (calm). We treat art like a meditative practice, which is why you’ll notice a quiet intensity in our sessions. ### How We Approach Learning We don’t believe in rushing the process. Whether you are joining us for a 12-session foundation course or an advanced charcoal module, the method remains the same: * **Foundation First:** We emphasize the essentials—perspective, light, shadow, and grip control—before moving to complex subjects. * **No Shortcuts:** You’ll watch live demonstrations, observe the brushwork, and then attempt the technique yourself with immediate, real-time guidance. * **Personalised Attention:** Even when we work in groups, the teaching remains individual. If a specific concept isn't landing, we adjust the approach so you grasp it thoroughly. ### Practical Details for Your Visit * **Flexibility:** We offer both weekday and weekend batches to fit around your work or personal life. * **Supplies:** We provide the guidance and the studio space, but we ask students to bring their own drawing materials (sketchbooks, pencils, erasers) so you get comfortable with the tools you'll be using at home. * **The Vibe:** There is no age bar and no requirement for prior talent. Our studio is for anyone who wants to learn to see the world like an artist. ## About Pencil and Chai I’m here to guide you through the fundamentals of art, not just to teach you a skill.
