Whether you are using our athletics track, playing football on our natural earth ground, or walking the promenade, please note that we maintain this as a dedicated sports and nature zone. It is a shared space where athletes focus on training and visitors come to recharge, so we ask everyone to respect our grounds and the peace we work hard to preserve. ### From Garbage Dump to Green Heart Decades ago, this land was a dumping ground. Through the sheer determination of Mr. Desai and the community, we transformed it into the green lung you see today. Now, it stands as a testament to what we can achieve when we care for our environment. Our 'Home Ground' isn't just a park; it is a vital part of Mumbai’s biodiversity. ### Why You’ll Love Our Grounds - **Sea-Facing Tracks:** Our athletics track runs right alongside the Arabian Sea. It provides a natural, breezy path for runners and walkers that you won't find anywhere else in the city. - **Natural Surfaces:** We prefer natural earth grounds and red soil. While this means things can get dusty in the heat or muddy in the monsoon, it offers the authentic, high-impact training experience that serious athletes need. - **The Monsoon Experience:** The park comes alive during the rains. With the sea at our doorstep and lush greenery all around, it is the most peaceful place to be in Mumbai. ### A Space for Everyone Whether you are a 6-year-old taking your first football steps, a parent watching a training session, or an adult looking for a quiet sunset walk, there is a place for you here. Our facility is designed to blend sport and nature seamlessly. We invite you to step away from the traffic, breathe in the sea air, and join a community that values movement as much as it values peace. ## About Priyadarshini Park & Sports We are PDP, the 'family' that built this park to be a place where Mumbai can slow down and breathe. We believe sports should be played in nature, not just in concrete boxes. Come join us on the track or the field.
