I always tell parents: please don't worry about the baby crying, needing a feed, or wanting a nap during our shoot. I prioritize your baby's comfort above the camera. We build in plenty of time for soothing, feeding, and settling, so I only ever capture those peaceful, curled-up portraits when your baby is truly calm and ready. Whether you choose a cozy, relaxed session in the comfort of your own home or visit my studio in Mulund, my priority remains the same: a stress-free environment for you and your newborn. ### Why my newborn approach is different I do not believe in forcing newborns into uncomfortable or complex poses. Instead, I focus on 'lifestyle' portraits—the way you hold your baby, the tiny details of their hands and feet, and the quiet connection between you. My editing style is soft and organic, designed to highlight the natural beauty of your baby's skin without heavy retouching. ### Choosing your session type * **In-Home Lifestyle:** If you are still recovering or simply want the comfort of your own space, I bring my gear to you. These shoots are perfect for capturing your family in your natural element, surrounded by the things you love. * **Studio Milestone Sessions:** For families wanting a more artistic, themed look, my studio provides a controlled, safe environment. I use natural light and soft, neutral props to create portraits that feel timeless, not staged. ### Safety and patience Newborn photography requires an immense amount of patience. I understand that the first few weeks are exhausting for new parents. I keep the atmosphere quiet and unhurried. If your baby needs a cuddle or a break, we take it. There is no rush. My goal is for you to look back at these photos and remember the feeling of holding your little one, not just the picture itself. ## About Payal Gudhaka I’m Payal, and I don't believe in forcing poses on your little one.
