Often, people arrive thinking they need to be good at yoga or art, but the moment a rescue puppy crawls onto your lap, all that pressure fades. It is not about the perfect pose or painting; it is about the quiet, spontaneous shift in energy when you stop performing and just start connecting with an animal that needs your touch. The photos on this page document the art of noticing. We started Pawga to turn the conversation around Indian indie dogs from pity to pure joy. When you join one of our workshops, whether it is puppy yoga or a pottery session, you are doing more than just winding down for the weekend. You are participating in a social experiment where barriers break. We see professionals, students, and families come in a bit guarded, but within minutes, they are on the floor, laughing while a puppy steals their paintbrush or takes a nap on their mat. That is the moment we live for. We use these candid, wholesome interactions to show that shelter pets are not just animals to be rescued; they are companions waiting to be found. Everything you see here—the laughter, the cuddles, the happy tears—happens in real-time at our pop-ups across Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, and beyond. These are not staged photos. These are the faces of people who walked in alone and left with a fresh perspective on adoption. If you want to experience this, come with an open heart. Leave the stress outside, grab a mat, and be ready to meet your next best friend. You might just walk away having found the missing piece to your home. ## About Pawga We are the humans behind Pawga, a group who simply could not ignore the streeties needing homes. We started this to turn shelter stories from sad to joyful, creating a space where you can just be yourself while helping an animal find a family.
