I avoid graphite to ensure the art doesn't smudge over time. By using a precise cross-hatching technique, I build layers of ink that give these portraits their 3D depth, taking anywhere from 10 to 28 hours to complete depending on the level of detail. I use 200 GSM heavy-grain drawing paper for every commission because it holds the ink layers without bleeding. Once the sketch is finished, I apply a fixative spray to protect the ink from fading or smudging, ensuring the portrait remains clear for years. Since I ship my art across India, I don't send fragile frames. Instead, I carefully roll each portrait in a rigid, weather-proof PVC tube. This protects the artwork during transit so it arrives at your doorstep in perfect condition. Whether you choose a classic blue pen portrait or a detailed color piece, my focus is always on capturing the real expression—the shine in the eyes or the specific pattern of jewelry—using only pens. If you have a specific A3 or A4 size requirement or a special composition in mind, just let me know and we can work out the details. ## About Parvesh Ram Ram!
