When we build something like a 30-foot bar counter or a multi-part architectural bookshelf, we carefully manage weight distribution and reinforcement techniques. We ensure the piece is stable for high-traffic environments while keeping the tactile, handmade finish our clients expect. ### From Concept to Structural Art Scaling up our terrazzo and concrete process is a different beast compared to making furniture. When we worked on the Starbucks Reserve coffee counter, it wasn't just about aesthetics. It was about creating a functional, heavy-duty installation that could withstand constant use while looking seamless. ### Our Collaboration Process We don't believe in off-the-shelf solutions for large spaces. Every commercial project starts with: * **Site Assessment:** We understand your floor load, traffic flow, and lighting before a single mix is prepared. * **Custom Sampling:** We create specific terrazzo aggregates and color mixes that align with your brand identity or interior palette. You see the slab before it becomes the counter. * **Engineering & Reinforcement:** We use high-strength Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC) and specialized substrates to ensure durability without unnecessary weight. ### Why Scale Matters We approach a 30-foot bar with the same curiosity we had when we first poured concrete into a juice box. The magic happens in the details—how the brass inlays meet the terrazzo edge, how the surface feels to the touch, and how it ages. We want your commercial space to feel like a home, not a factory-made interior. Whether it is a restaurant, a retail store, or a boutique office, we are here to build something that anchors the room. ## About Parman Designs I’m Manuj. We don’t treat commercial projects as standard corporate jobs. Whether it’s a 30-foot bar for a coffee shop or a custom installation for a studio, we approach it with the same hand-crafted care as our smallest side table. Our goal is to bring a human, tactile element into spaces where people gather, making them feel warm rather than purely functional.
