It is never about the trophy; it is about seeing the moment someone realizes that concrete and terrazzo are not just industrial materials—they are an emotion. When you see our work in these settings, you are seeing the result of months of sanding, grinding, and polishing that we put into every single piece. ### From Studio to Stage The journey from our studio in Ghitorni to stages like the Jio World Garden in Mumbai has been a humbling lesson in patience. Designing for exhibitions like India Design ID requires us to think about our pieces not just as furniture, but as installations. We want them to act as conversation starters—whether it is the reef table that made visitors pause to ask 'how was this made?' or our Rooh collection designed to evoke quiet contemplation. ### Why This Recognition Matters Winning the 'Trendsetter and Futuristic Handmade Terrazzo Product Brand' award in 2025 was significant because it validated our process. We don't use big, fast machines. We use our hands. We work with nature, not against it, which is why our pieces often feature the raw textures of exposed aggregate or the delicate flow of hand-cast forms. When we showcase at AD Design Show or India Design ID, we are not just displaying products. We are sharing the story of how a bag of cement and a handful of stone chips can transform into a statement piece for your home. ### Bringing Award-Winning Design Home If you have seen our work at these shows and want something similar for your space, we approach it the same way we approach an exhibit piece. Whether it is a wall panel with brass inlays, a sculptural floor lamp, or a custom dining table, we start with a sketch and finish with a piece that is built to last for generations. Our commissions are all about making the art of these exhibitions accessible for your daily life. ## About Parman Designs I am Manuj, and for me, Parman Designs isn't about fitting into a category. It is about taking concrete and terrazzo—materials that have been around forever—and pushing them until they feel new, raw, and full of life. We don’t just make furniture; we build pieces that sit in your space and wait for you to make a memory with them.
