It is not just about the props or the lighting. The secret is the swaddle itself, which mimics the security of the womb and keeps your baby settled. I prioritize comfort over everything, using only soft, organic fabrics and gentle techniques to ensure your little one feels safe while we create these images. ### The Art of the Swaddle The newborn stage is incredibly fleeting. These posed, swaddled portraits are best captured between 7 and 21 days after birth. During this window, your baby is naturally more comfortable staying curled up, which allows us to gently position them in specialized props like wooden moon bowls or rustic heart baskets. ### Safety First Safety is my non-negotiable priority. Every session, whether at my Malad West studio or in your home across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area, involves a dedicated safety assistant. Their sole job is to spot the baby, ensuring they remain secure even during complex setups. I use professional strobe lighting and sanitized, high-quality props, so you can relax knowing your baby is in capable hands. ### Why Choose Swaddled Portraits? Swaddling provides the calming pressure that newborns crave. It reduces the startle reflex, helping them drift into deep, restful sleep. This peaceful state allows me to capture those delicate expressions, tiny fingers, and serene faces without any fuss. * **Professional Studio Environment:** My studio is fully temperature-controlled and sanitized, offering a quiet space for your baby. * **Home Comfort:** If you prefer the ease of home, I transport my full mobile studio setup, including lighting and props, to your location. * **Customized Themes:** From celestial moon scenes to floral-inspired nests, I tailor the styling to your preference. Whether you want a specific color palette or a cultural touch with traditional fabrics, we will plan the look before the session begins. ## About Parinita Niwal I am Parinita, and as a mom, I understand the mix of nerves and excitement you feel when bringing your newborn for their first photoshoot.
