This video shows the whole process of hand cutting a floral 'S' initial. Every tiny piece is removed by hand with a blade, no machines involved, just a lot of patience.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/c7d48bac-e346-4466-b1f7-99b0627066b1) ## About Custom Portraits & Bookmarks every single line is hand-cut with a precision blade, no machines allowed. because i use 200 gsm archival paper, these pieces are sturdy, but they definitely prefer to stay away from direct sunlight. since i work entirely by hand, it takes a little patience to get the details perfect, so keep that in mind when you reach out! when you order a custom portrait, it starts with a photo you love. i focus on the light and shadow to create that silhouette magic. it takes a few days, but the result is a unique piece of art that really looks like the person. for the bookmarks, i use 200 gsm paper with floral initials or motifs. they come in a protective sleeve so they arrive safe and sound. everything is framed in clean, floating acrylic or double glass, so you can see all the intricate, delicate details. if you want something special made, just send me a message and we can figure out the design together. i'm always excited to hear new ideas! ## About Smriti hi, i'm smriti. i started cutting paper back in 2020 and honestly, i haven't put the knife down since. i love the idea that i can turn a plain sheet of paper into a memory, whether it's a portrait or a tiny bookmark. let's chat and make some magic.
