Whether it is a group of non-techies building dynamo torches or teams racing their handmade Doodle Bots, we focus entirely on the build process. You do not need to know voltage or circuitry before you walk in—we have 2 technical facilitators who guide you through the soldering and assembly so everyone walks away with a functional piece of tech. ### Why We Do Electronics Differently We believe technology is for everyone, not just engineers. We strip away the intimidation that usually surrounds STEM topics by replacing lectures with hands-on maker projects. Our goal is to get your team unplugged, laughing, and working together to build things that move, light up, or scribble. ### Popular Challenges * **Doodle Bot Battle:** Teams build simple robots using motors, battery casings, and everyday markers. The result is a 'bot' that draws on its own, followed by a collaborative bot battle on a large canvas. * **Dynamo Torch Building:** A favorite for corporate groups, this challenge teaches the basics of energy and circuits as teams construct functional torches from scratch. * **Interactive Paper Circuits:** We show you how to blend art and tech by creating light-up cards and pop-ups that look great on any desk. ### Logistics & Accessibility We host these sessions at our Indiranagar makerspace or we can bring the lab to your office. For on-site events, we just need access to power outlets and large tables. We provide all the materials—motors, wires, soldering irons, and craft supplies—and keep the staff ratio high (approx 1 lead + 1 support per 15 participants) to ensure everyone feels confident and supported throughout the build. Whether you are a team of introverts or extraverts, we design the session to be low-pressure and high-engagement. ## About Paper Crane Lab We are Paper Crane Lab, a group of curious makers who believe STEM is meant to be messy and fun.
