We believe education needs a shake-up, so we created a space where play is the foundation of learning. Join our annual festival designed for educators, parents, and children to reimagine what joyful discovery looks like in practice.

## About The Playbook: Our Signature Learning Festival

The Playbook is designed in two distinct, immersive streams: Day 1 invites educators to deep-dive into playful pedagogy and teacher wellbeing, while Day 2 opens our doors to families for shared discoveries, including our micro-school learners' flea market and interactive, hands-on workshops.

The Playbook isn't a conference where you sit back and listen to lectures. It is a festival of action. When we set out to create this, our goal was to move beyond the theory of play and get our hands dirty. Whether you are a teacher looking for new ways to integrate art and math, or a parent wondering how to navigate technology with your child, this event provides the environment to experiment.

### For Educators
Day 1 is dedicated to the complexity of the teaching profession. We recognize that play-based teaching takes immense energy, which is why we include dedicated sessions on educator wellbeing, stress management, and sustainable practices. You will work alongside peers in mini-courses on topics like nature-based learning, the science of food and fermentation, and storytelling as a pedagogical tool. It is about building a community of practice where we can lean on each other for support.

### For Families
Day 2 transforms the space into a hub for connection. We move the focus to how learning happens in the home. Our micro-school children lead the flea market, giving them a real-world platform to manage sales and raise funds for causes they care about. We also run workshops that turn meal preparation into bonding time and teach families how to build screen-free toys like kaleidoscope projectors. It is an opportunity to see that learning is not just something that happens in a classroom—it happens in kitchens, workshops, and conversations at home.

We design every installation, puzzle floor, and panel discussion to spark curiosity, not just for the children, but for the adults as well. If you have been searching for a place where learning feels alive and the joy of discovery is shared, this is it.
