## Meet your expert

### My story

Hi, I’m Pallavi. I sing, act, direct, make films—mostly, I tell stories with whoever wants to join in. My house is always buzzing, chai and charcha (tea and chat) everywhere, and my daughter Kaadu in the thick of it, dreaming up wild cakes or judging my stories. I’ve learnt from legends of Sugama Sangeetha, and awards like Vachana Sahityashri remind me this art is bigger than me. Blending life and art, old and new, is what keeps me going.

- **All things art—singing, acting, directing, composing**: I do classical, folk, world music, even ancient poetry fusion music. Also, storytelling for kids and talks on art.
