A good portrait is not just about painting a face, it is about understanding how a slight change in the nose angle or the shape of an eye changes the entire emotion of the artwork. This daily practice is exactly why I can capture your loved ones' expressions so accurately when you order a custom piece from me. ### Behind the DoodleYatra When I started my 60-day drawing challenge, I was juggling my office life and my passion. I called it my 'DoodleYatra' because every page in this book is a journey of learning. Whether I am drawing in a café or while traveling, these sketches are how I sharpen my skills. ### Why Practice Matters for Your Art People often ask me how I manage to make caricatures look so much like the person. It is not magic. It is hours spent on: * **Anatomy Studies:** Breaking down the human form into simple shapes so your custom portrait has the right proportions. * **Expression Drills:** Sketching dozens of eyes and mouths to understand how to convey joy, surprise, or sadness in ink. * **Material Comfort:** Testing how different fineliners and markers react on 180+ GSM paper, so the final ink work I deliver to you is crisp and smudge-free. ### Turning Practice into Keepsakes I treat my sketchbook as a sacred space. When you hire me for a portrait or a caricature, you are not just getting a final product. You are getting the result of these hundreds of practice sketches. I pour the same focus into your stones, canvases, and sketches that you see in these rough pages. If you have an idea in your head, let us work on it together. Aaram se dekho dosto (take your time, friends), and let me know if you want to turn your memory into art. ## About Ishika Vishwakarma Art is my life, and this sketchbook is where my journey happens every single day.
