This base work ensures that the final vibrant acrylic layers stay true to the original photo and capture the personality of the subject. ### How I Create Your Portrait When you order an acrylic portrait, I am not just painting a picture; I am preserving a memory. * **The Sketch Base:** I always start with a detailed pencil sketch on the canvas. This is crucial for me because it helps me get the facial expressions and details right before I start with the colors. * **Professional Materials:** I use heavy body acrylic paints on gallery-wrapped cotton canvas. These paints are known for being vibrant and long-lasting, so your portrait won't fade away with time. * **The Finish:** Once the painting is complete, I apply a double coat of gloss or satin varnish. This acts as a protective shield against UV light, moisture, and dust, making your artwork durable enough to be a keepsake for years. ### Why Choose Acrylic? If you want colors that pop and a modern feel, acrylic is the way to go. It works beautifully for couple portraits, family frames, or even pet portraits. Whether you want an abstract, bokeh-style background to highlight the subjects, or a realistic setting, we can discuss the composition before I start. ### A Note on Process I believe in transparency, so I share work-in-progress updates with you. This gives you a chance to see the portrait coming to life. I ship these safely across India, packed carefully in protective packaging to ensure it reaches your doorstep just as beautiful as it looked in my studio. Whether it is a 12x18 inch piece or a larger 24x30 inch heirloom, I pour the same love into every size. If you have a photo that feels a bit old or damaged, do not worry. I also specialize in restoring old photographs or merging separate images into one cohesive family portrait. ## About Ishika Vishwakarma Hi buddies, I am the artist behind these canvases.
