I turn your faded photos and scattered moments into hand-painted canvas portraits and detailed graphite sketches, giving your history a new life. ## Photos and videos - [Video: This video shows my complete process for restoring a treasured memory. It wasn't just about painting from a photo; it was about capturing a lifetime of love and family history on canvas.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/fad12966-cfe8-4a42-80ac-9f0abea22069) ## About Bringing Memories to Life Whether you have a grainy black and white photo of a grandparent or two separate pictures of loved ones you want to see together, I work by merging these references into a single, cohesive composition. This process is deeply personal; I handle every brushstroke or pencil shade knowing it is not just a painting, but a way to hold onto someone you love. ### How I Transform Your Photos Turning a photograph into art is not just about copying what I see. It is about capturing the soul of the moment. My process begins with digital consultation, where we discuss the composition, especially if we are merging multiple people or restoring a heavily damaged photo. **Acrylic Canvas Paintings** For color portraits, I use professional heavy-body acrylics on gallery-wrapped canvas. I start with a detailed pencil sketch base to ensure accuracy before building layers of color. Each painting is finished with a double coat of varnish to protect against moisture and UV light, ensuring it lasts for years. **Graphite Pencil Sketches** If you prefer a classic, timeless feel, my graphite sketches on A4 acid-free paper are the way to go. I focus on contrast and emotion, using a range of H to 8B pencils to bring depth to faces. These are perfect for individual or couple portraits and are shipped in protective sleeves to prevent smudging. **Photo Restoration & Merging** This is often the most emotional part of my work. I can take old, blurry, or damaged photographs and reconstruct them into vibrant paintings. If you want to add a family member to a group photo or combine separate shots into one frame, I handle the composition with patience and care. Every piece is a handmade keepsake. Because this work takes time, I recommend reaching out in advance if you have a specific date in mind, especially for anniversary or birthday gifts. I ship across India, so your art reaches you safely regardless of where you are. ## About Ishika Vishwakarma I am just a girl who believes art is the best way to keep memories alive.
