They are my take on pure, filmy romance. ## Photos and videos - ![A close-up of a romantic couple silhouette painting. Getting that perfect moonlit glow behind the couple is what actually creates the mood, so I layer the acrylics carefully to get the colors smooth before I even touch the brush to the figures. These paintings are all about capturing a moment that feels like a scene from a movie. I use high-quality acrylics to build up those deep, romantic backgrounds. You will see a lot of moonlit skies, cherry blossoms, and street lamps in my work because those elements ground the figures and give the piece a sense of place. If you have a specific photo or a memory of a walk under the stars, I can adapt the silhouettes to match that scene. I usually work on stretched canvas for these larger pieces, which means they arrive ready to hang on your wall immediately. I always include a round of rough sketches so we can make sure the composition is exactly how you imagined it before I commit to the paint. Whether you want a large 18x24 inch piece to act as a focal point in your bedroom or something smaller for a gift, we can adjust the sizing. It is a slow process, but I find that letting the layers dry properly is the only way to get that rich, dramatic finish. ## About Upasana Rajpoot I am Upasana. By day, I am an advocate navigating law books, but by night, I am just an artist chasing stories on canvas. When I am not painting, I am likely sketching or thinking about how to turn a blank space into something that feels like home.
