I look at the color palette, the border weight, and the fabric weave before sketching the blouse design. We focus on getting the blouse structure right first, using pad-stitching for a corset-like fit, so you stay comfortable while moving through hours of ceremony rituals. My design process begins with a conversation about your wedding rituals. Whether you have a heavy heirloom Kanchivaram or are looking for a lighter, modern organza saree, the blouse acts as the anchor for the entire look. I specialize in hand-embroidered Maggam work that balances traditional motifs with contemporary cuts, such as deep-U necklines or corset-style structures that provide support. For brides in Bangalore, I offer in-person consultations at my Indiranagar studio to discuss fabrics and embroidery options. If you are outside the city, we manage the entire customization process remotely through video calls and precise measurements. My approach includes selecting the right lining, like cotton or butter-crepe, to ensure that heavy beadwork and 3D floral motifs do not cause irritation during long ceremonies.
