Seeing that idea grow into a community movement across Mangalore has been incredible. These features are not just about us; they highlight a shift we are seeing in Namma Kudla, where more neighbors are choosing to create their own green corners, whether it is a small balcony or a full terrace garden. These features in the Times Business Awards and local media reflect the journey of Our Balcony Garden from 2018 until today. We set out to change the gifting culture in Mangalore, replacing bouquets with plants that last. Since then, we have evolved into a full-service partner for homeowners, offices, and cafes looking to bring nature indoors. We handle the complete design process, from the initial free site visit to the final installation. We understand that starting a garden can feel intimidating, which is why we focus on 'no-tension' solutions. Whether you need custom fibre planters that match your interior theme, low-maintenance indoor plants like Snake Plants, or a full vertical garden installation, we ensure everything is tailored to your space’s specific light and layout. Beyond setup, we offer ongoing maintenance and recovery visits to keep your green spaces thriving year-round. Our goal is to make sure your plants do not just survive but add a sense of tranquility to your home. We also regularly host workshops in Mangalore, teaching everything from soil mixing to pest control so you can feel confident getting your hands dirty. ## About Our Balcony Garden We are Prajwal and Poornima, and honestly, we are just two people who got tired of seeing concrete everywhere. We started Our Balcony Garden to prove that anyone in Mangalore can have a thriving green space without the stress, and seeing our work featured has only encouraged us to keep making gardening simple and accessible for everyone.
