Before you pick anything, we assess your space's lighting and your lifestyle, then suggest hardy, beginner-friendly options like Snake or ZZ plants. Apni chinta door rakhein—our goal is to make sure your first plant thrives, not just survives. ### How We Got Started Back in 2018, we noticed a simple problem: everyone was gifting plastic bouquets that would just wilt away. We wanted to change that. 'Gift a plant, not a bouquet' became our motto, and it quickly turned into a movement across Mangaluru. What started as a small idea grew into Our Balcony Garden because we wanted to help people reconnect with nature, right inside their homes. ### Why We're Different We aren't a typical nursery. We are a team that visits your site to understand your interior theme. Whether you have a bright balcony or a cozy, low-light apartment, we match the plant and the planter to your space. We manufacture our own lightweight, customizable fibre planters in-house, so you get something that fits your decor perfectly. ### Our 'No Tension' Approach for Beginners If you've ever thought, 'I kill every plant I touch,' you are not alone, and you are definitely in the right place. Our approach to gardening is simple: * **Start Easy:** We focus on resilient plants like Sansevieria (Snake Plant), ZZ plants, and Pothos that forgive you if you forget to water them occasionally. * **Right Soil & Potting:** We use well-draining, nutrient-rich soil mixes enriched with slow-release fertilizer so your plants get the right foundation from day one. * **Personal Guidance:** From choosing the right pot size to explaining how much light a Monstera needs, we guide you through the process. If you want to start your garden but aren't sure where to begin, let's chat. We’ll help you pick a setup that fits your home, your aesthetic, and your schedule. ## About Our Balcony Garden We’re Prajwal and Poornima, the team behind Our Balcony Garden.
