I personally oversee every stance correction and technique, ensuring that whether you are practicing kata or kumite, your movements align with international standards. We do not just go through the motions; we ensure your form is correct, powerful, and safe from day one. ### Precision Through Experience Authentic karate is about consistency. You cannot build strength or confidence on shaky foundations, which is why my instruction relies on the traditional Okinawa Shorin-Ryu curriculum. Every student, regardless of age, learns the same rigorous approach to stances, blocks, and strikes that I have honed over three decades of competitive and instructional experience. ### Why WKF Standards Matter My certification as a World Karate Federation (WKF) Coach is not just a title; it is a guarantee of quality. It means the training methodology I bring to the dojo—the agility drills, the sparring rules, and the performance criteria—is aligned with what is being taught at the highest levels of the sport globally. ### The Training Structure - **Technical Mastery:** We prioritize the biomechanics of each move. You will learn the 'why' behind every block and strike, not just the physical action. - **Direct Correction:** I do not believe in passive observation. I am on the floor with you, correcting hand positions and breathing patterns immediately to prevent bad habits from taking root. - **Progressive Grading:** Our belt system is earned through formal examinations. You will know exactly what is required to move from white belt to black belt, with clear benchmarks for kata mastery and physical conditioning. Whether you are looking to enter competitive sports karate or simply want to learn a discipline that demands focus and respect, the instruction remains the same: thorough, technical, and grounded in martial arts tradition. ## About OSK Academy I am Renshi Sajesh P, and I run this academy based on 30 years of daily practice and competitive coaching. I do not just manage this place; I am on the mat every day, ensuring that every student receives the exact same standard of instruction that qualified me as a WKF coach.
