It holds these floral arrangements and chocolate drips perfectly, but it is sensitive to heat. If you are picking up or planning a delivery in Mumbai, keep the AC on during transport. It ensures that delicate buttercream stays smooth and the chocolate drip looks exactly as it should when you are ready to cut into it. When I design a drip cake, the fun part is balancing that playful chocolate pour with the elegance of fresh seasonal flowers or gold leaf accents. Whether you want a bold, high-contrast look like black and white stripes with carnations or something soft and romantic like pink roses with strawberries, I treat every cake like a mini art project. ### Why These Designs Work - **Buttercream Mastery:** I use Swiss meringue and American buttercream because they provide a stable, delicious canvas. Unlike cheaper non-dairy alternatives, this gives you a clean, professional finish that tastes as good as it looks. - **Flavor Pairings:** My most popular choices for these designs are Belgian Chocolate and the Billionaire’s Cake (with praline). They provide a dense, moist base that supports the weight of macarons, fresh flowers, and chocolate spheres. - **Custom Finishes:** Whether it is a watercolor effect on the frosting, gold-dusted chocolate spheres, or stencil work for texture, I can customize the palette to match your party theme or brand colors. ### Practical Details - **Fresh Elements:** If your design includes fresh flowers, I make sure they are food-safe and properly prepped before they hit the buttercream. - **Size & Tiers:** I can scale these designs from a small 1kg celebration cake to larger, two-tier showstoppers for bigger parties. - **Personalization:** Adding a custom acrylic topper with a name or age is a great way to finish these off.
