Whether it is a jungle-themed sensory bin or a basic pre-writing clay exercise, I focus on the connection between tactile exploration and cognitive development. These sessions are designed to gently build your child's hand-eye coordination, patience, and attention span in a quiet, zero-pressure environment at our Vikhroli studio or right at your home. ### Why Sensory Play Matters For children between 18 months and 5 years, the world is best understood through touch, sight, and sound. My sensory bins and motor skill exercises act as a foundation for early learning, helping children develop the concentration they need for future school success. We move away from traditional 'sit and learn' methods to foster natural curiosity. ### What We Cover * **Tactile Exploration:** We use textured bins, sorting activities, and sand play to help toddlers process sensory input. * **Fine Motor Refinement:** Through clay modeling, painting, and gripping activities, we strengthen the small muscles in the hands and fingers, which is critical for future writing. * **Developmental Milestones:** Every activity is curated to support a specific area of growth, whether it's color recognition, spatial awareness, or simply following multi-step instructions. ### Flexible Learning Options I understand that every family has a different comfort zone. You can join me at my Vikhroli studio for a group play session, which is great for social development. Alternatively, I offer home visits where I bring all the materials to your living room. This is often better for toddlers who are shy or have sensory sensitivities, as they are already comfortable in their own space. ### Making It Meaningful Parents often ask if their child is 'ready' for these activities. The truth is, there is no age too young to start exploring. My role is to observe how your child engages with materials—do they like to sort? Do they like to pile? Do they prefer soft textures or firm objects? By understanding their unique style, we create a supportive path for their growth, ensuring they feel confident rather than pressured. ## About Om Kids Activities At Om Kids Activities, I treat every session like a playdate rather than a formal classroom lesson. My goal is to create a safe space where your child feels comfortable to get messy, explore, and find their unique rhythm while building essential skills.
