In our Vikhroli studio, you won't find us rushing to finish a piece for display. Instead, we spend time helping children experiment with clay, textures, and paints, ensuring that whether your child is 3 or 16, they feel the confidence to make creative choices without the fear of making a mistake. At OM Kids Activities, our art studio serves as a dedicated space for children to explore their artistic potential. We move away from traditional methods that focus solely on the outcome, focusing instead on creative exploration. ### Our Artistic Approach Our sessions are structured to meet children at their developmental stage: * **Preschool (Ages 3-5):** We start with sensory-rich art, focusing on color recognition, fine motor control through coloring, and basic shapes. It is all about getting comfortable with materials. * **Intermediate (Ages 6-12):** Here, we introduce structured techniques including drawing, painting, mixed media, and cartooning. We emphasize understanding perspective, texture, and value. * **Advanced (Ages 8-16):** For older students, we delve into advanced painting methods, including acrylics and watercolors, alongside design principles like composition and balance. ### Why Process Matters We believe that art is a tool for holistic development. When a child works on a clay model or a painting, they are building patience, decision-making skills, and emotional intelligence. We have seen firsthand how art helps reduce anxiety and boost self-esteem. Our studio in Vikhroli West is designed to be a distraction-free zone where children can focus, experiment, and ultimately, find joy in their own unique style. Whether you are looking for after-school engagement, summer camps, or a creative outlet for a neurodiverse child, our studio provides a supportive, inclusive environment where progress is celebrated at every step. ## About Om Kids Activities I am so happy to welcome you to our little studio, which truly feels like a second home for our kids. We started this place because we wanted a spot where children could explore their creativity without feeling judged or compared. It is just us, some colors, and a lot of happy learning.
