I've got a background in psychology, but honestly, my heart beats for animals. To me, helping our streeties (local Indian dogs) isn’t just a job - it’s something I feel deep down. I keep saying: Adopt, don’t shop. Giving an Indie dog a home? Life-changing, for them and you. ### What Happens at Our Adoption Drives - We run adoption drives, usually every month, where you can meet rescued animals - dogs, puppies, cats, kittens. Main focus? Indies. - You get to chat with rescuers and foster parents, hear every animal’s story, and see if someone clicks with you. - Some of our animals have special needs or tough pasts, but all they want is a second chance. - The vibe is super chill - cuddle zones, Q&As, sometimes even pet photoshoots. - Not adopting? You can still help by donating stuff like leashes or bowls. Every bit counts. ### Fostering - A Small Step, Big Impact If you can’t adopt, fostering is a huge help. Even a week or two makes a difference. My own dog, Miney, was a 'foster fail' - I just couldn’t let her go! We’ll match you with animals who need a safe space, even if it’s short-term. ### Building Compassion with Workshops I run animal compassion workshops in schools - teaching kids how to treat animals, why Indies thagobeku (should adopt Indies), and how to build a more caring Bengaluru. ### Beyond Adoption: Community Commitment We host free anti-rabies vaccination camps and push for humane stray dog solutions like sterilization, not cruelty. Our goal? Make Bengaluru safer and kinder for every animal. ## Highlights Browse through Oh My Dawg's best work. ### [Featured](https://mytribe.in/ohmydawg.blr/animal-welfare-adoption-services/featured) - ![This is what it's all about. I used to be a psychotherapist, but honestly, my heart beats for animals. My two rescues, Mynie and Momo, taught me what real healing looks like. Momo was a mess when she came to me, now she’s all play and trust. Even after my accident, I’m more stubborn about kindness. I talk to kids in schools, tell them our beedhi naayi (street dog) is just as cool as any fancy breed. For me, this place is soul work. ### My work - **All-in-One Pet Centre**: We’ve got a store packed with beds, interactive dog toys, treats, and a spa for your furry pals. - **Adopt, Don’t Shop**: We push for Indian dog adoption, run drives, and help Indies find loving homes. That’s our mission. - **Compassion Workshops for Kids**: I run pet wellness workshops in schools, teaching kids how kindness to animals helps us all. - **Fostering Support**: Not ready to adopt? We guide you through fostering street dogs or cats till they find their people. ## More services from Oh My Dawg - [Pet Supplies](https://mytribe.in/ohmydawg.blr/pet-supplies) · ₹4,500-8,200 per set (estimate) - [Pet Grooming Services](https://mytribe.in/ohmydawg.blr/pet-grooming-services) · ₹950-2,600 per session (estimate) ## Experts similar to Oh My Dawg on mytribe - [Dog Rescue & Adoption by Second Home](https://mytribe.in/second_home_dog_boarding/dog-rescue-adoption) · ₹0 per dog (estimate) · Second Home Dog Boarding - [Dog Adoption & Rescue Services by K9 Gurukul](https://mytribe.in/k9_gurukul/dog-adoption-rescue-services) · ₹1-15K per adoption (estimate) · K9 Gurukul - [Wellness Events with Rescue Animals by Pawga](https://mytribe.in/pawga_/wellness-events-with-rescue-animals) · ₹849-1,799 per person (estimate) · India - [Animal Adoption Services by Wagg City](https://mytribe.in/waggcity/animal-adoption-services) · ₹500-2,500 per adoption (estimate) · Wagg City - [Dog Training & Behavior Modification by The Urban Dawg](https://mytribe.in/theurbandawg/dog-training-behavior-modification) · ₹1,200-3,000 per session (estimate) · The Urban Dawg - Companion Canine Services - [Pet Adoption Services by Play Pet Boarding](https://mytribe.in/playpetboarding/pet-adoption-services) · ₹0-1,100 per adoption (estimate) · Play Pet Boarding - [Pet-Friendly Adventures & Meetups by The Pack](https://mytribe.in/thepack.in/pet-friendly-adventures-meetups) · ₹900-2,000 per dog (estimate) · Bengaluru ## Book To book Oh My Dawg, message mytribe on WhatsApp: [Chat on WhatsApp](https://wa.me/916360004054?text=Hi%2C%20I'm%20looking%20for%20Animal%20Welfare%20%26%20Adoption%20Services%20by%20Oh%20My%20Dawg.)
