It is the best way to get a feel for our studio environment, observe our teaching process, and meet our instructors before committing to a full monthly program. ### Our Community Approach Art is not just about technique, it is about finding a space to express yourself without judgment. Since 2010, we have built a community in Bengaluru where everyone from toddlers to seniors can experiment, fail, laugh, and improve together. Whether you are walking into our Vijayanagar studio or joining our online sessions, the focus remains on personal growth. ### Types of Workshops We Host - **Weekend Pottery:** Perfect for beginners who want to get their hands dirty on the wheel and learn basic hand-building techniques. - **Seasonal Camps:** During summer and festive periods, we run themed workshops like decoupage, candle making, and mural painting. - **Live Painting Events:** We frequently organize 'Art Sundays' at local parks and community centers to help you paint in a natural setting. - **Competitions:** Through our 'Chitrakar' initiative, students can exhibit their work, gain confidence, and win recognition. ### What You Need to Know Our classes are divided by experience level and age. We keep batches small with a 1:10 instructor-to-student ratio to ensure you get enough personal attention. For our professional mentorship programs, we focus on advanced concepts like oil on canvas and semi-realistic portraiture, designed for those serious about building a portfolio for exhibitions. We operate out of multiple locations, including Malleshwaram, Horamavu, and Mathikere, making it convenient for residents across the city to join. Our studio environment is casual and non-intimidating, so you can walk in as a hobbyist and leave as a confident creator. ## About NS Kumbar Art Academy I started this journey in 2010 to build a space where art is accessible to everyone.
