In my sessions, we focus on the expressions and that typical shoulder bounce that makes Bhangra, well, Bhangra. I see so many brides worrying about being perfect dancers, but the secret is just letting go. At my Sector 52 studio, we prioritize the energy over the technique so you actually look like you are having the time of your life on stage. When I choreograph a Bhangra or Giddha set, the goal isn't to turn you into a professional folk dancer overnight. It is to make sure you look like you own the stage. My approach at Nrityangana Studios is simple: we pick beats that match your personality, not just the current trending song. ### Why the energy matters Bhangra is all about the 'chardi kala' (high spirits) vibe. If you are stiff, it shows. We spend time in my sessions breaking down that specific shoulder bounce and the footwork patterns that make folk dance so infectious. If you are doing a Giddha routine, we focus on the playful hand gestures and that signature circular formation. ### Studio vs. Online If you are in Gurgaon, come down to Sector 52. We have professional wooden flooring which is a lifesaver for your knees, especially when you are practicing those heavy stomps. If you are too busy with wedding prep to travel, I also do virtual sessions. The choreography remains just as punchy, and we use a mirrored video feed so you don't get confused about left versus right. ### Getting the look right Most of the dancers I train worry about their outfits restricting them. Whether you are wearing a lehenga or a suit, I adjust the choreography so you can move freely. We focus on camera angles too, because let's face it, your Sangeet video is going on the gram, and you want to look effortless. ## About Simran Hi, I am Simran!
