In each 2-hour session, we focus on learning one full piece of choreography, whether it is Jazz Fusion or Bolly Funk, giving you a chance to express yourself and get comfortable with the music right from the start. Our Urban Raqs series is where we test and play with our fusion language. It is not just about learning steps, it is about how we combine the structured technique of Middle Eastern dance with the playfulness of Bollywood and the flow of Jazz. We host these sessions at professional spaces like Furor Studio and Latin Dance India in the heart of Koramangala, ensuring you have the right flooring and mirrors to really move. Each workshop follows a clear flow. We start with a warm-up that gets your body ready, move into drilling technique to ensure you understand the core movements, and then spend the bulk of the time on choreography. By the end of the session, we do a group recording on your phone, so you have something to take home and look back on. This is not a formal exam environment; it is a space for laughter and mistakes. We limit our group sizes to 15-25 participants to ensure you actually get feedback. If you are struggling with a posture or a specific isolation, you will hear us correcting it in real-time, not just watching from the back. These workshops are a great entry point into our community if you are curious about what we do but are not ready for a multi-week course. You get to meet our senior dancers, ask questions, and see if our style of movement resonates with you.
