We prioritize drainage systems—using geo-textile liners and saucer trays—because preventing soil leakage and water damage on your balcony floor is the most practical step for long-term sustainability. ### Turning Concrete into a Green Retreat Many of our clients come to us with the same problem: a beautiful home, but a balcony or terrace that feels sterile, noisy, or completely exposed to the street. We believe that no space is too small or too dull to become a garden. Our approach is grounded in reality. We don't just pick pretty plants; we look at the micro-climate of your balcony—how much wind it gets, where the sun hits, and what structural weight your floor can take. For privacy, we rely on a combination of high-density tropical screening plants like Areca Palms, Rhapis, and Heliconia. These don't just block the view; they create a living wall that acts as a natural sound buffer and cools the air. ### Why Our Approach Differs * **Hardscaping & Drainage:** We invest in high-grade FRP planters and dedicated drainage cells. This ensures water stays in the pot, not on your tiles, and the plants stay healthy for years, not weeks. * **Sustainable & Upcycled:** True to our roots, we actively reduce waste. Whether it's repurposing materials for custom planters or selecting native species that thrive in Bangalore's specific weather, our goal is a low-maintenance, high-impact space. * **Full-Cycle Execution:** You won't be left with a pile of bags and plants. From the initial layout planning to the transport, soil mixing, and final cleanup, we handle the entire messy process so you can simply step out and enjoy your new terrace. Whether you need a full rooftop lounge transformation with a bar counter or a simple vertical garden to hide a plain wall, we design with the end-user in mind. We want you to use your balcony, not just look at it from behind a glass door. ## About NR Design House We are NR Design House, a team that is obsessed with turning concrete into jungles.
