The secret lies in the integration of the handleless Gola profile system. By eliminating external handles, we create a clean, monolithic look that allows the texture of the shutters—whether matte, acrylic, or PU—to command the room without visual interruption. When you choose a dark or dramatic kitchen theme, the finish quality becomes non-negotiable. With standard carpentry, dark colors often highlight imperfections, which is why we rely on machine-pressed edge banding and German-grade hardware from Blum and Hettich. This ensures your high-gloss or super-matte shutters remain pristine, even with daily use in a busy household. Our approach to these kitchens focuses on depth. We often pair dark grey or black base cabinets with warm wood textures or smoked glass display units to balance the intensity. For instance, in our recent projects across Shobha City and DLF Magnolias, we used integrated LED profile lighting to wash the dark surfaces with light, adding a layer of warmth that prevents the space from feeling heavy. We typically use BWP calibrated plywood for the carcass, ensuring that these dramatic designs are as durable as they are stylish. If you are aiming for a seamless look, we recommend our Gola profile system. It offers a push-to-open or recessed channel experience, removing the need for hardware and keeping your kitchen lines sharp and uninterrupted. Whether you are considering a monochromatic grey palette or a bold black-and-gold contrast, we tailor the material choice—from scratch-resistant acrylics to high-end 7-coat PU finishes—to match your lifestyle requirements. ## About Novella Kitchens We are Novella Kitchens, based in Gurgaon.
