## About The Shloka Ambani Lookbook

Getting couture right is all about the science behind the silhouette. For Shloka’s custom Versace gown, we did not just pick a dress; we started with the original atelier sketch and managed multiple fitting stages to ensure the crinoline and beading hit exactly right. It is that precision, combined with hours spent on alterations and accessory pairing, that makes a look feel effortless on the day.

Styling for high-profile events is a balancing act between dramatic flair and wearability. When we create a look, we do not just select an outfit; we are building a narrative.

Heritage Magic:
For the Mela Rouge theme, it was all about intricate craftsmanship. We paired a heavy Manish Malhotra lehenga with a modern cut-out silhouette. My job was to ensure the weight of the hand-beading did not compromise the movement. We obsess over the draping, ensuring every pleat stays perfect from the first photo to the last dance.

Couture Precision:
International events require a different energy. With the custom Versace piece, we focused on archival inspiration and structural integrity. From the Atelier Versace sketch phase to the final onsite shadowing, every element, like the crinoline skirt and scale-like beading, was managed to survive the flashbulbs and gala floor.
