## About Hand-Embroidered Masterpieces

The embroidery you see here is a slow, manual process. Our Rajasthani artists take days to hand-place these motifs because we refuse to use machine-stitching for these pieces. When you look at the silver-thread scorpions or the gold-leaf birds on our collars, you’re looking at hours of patience. This is why we ask for a bit of lead time to ensure each stitch lands exactly where it should.

### Artistry in Every Stitch

We don't use standard patterns you see in malls. My collaboration with local Rajasthani artisans is the heart of Nine. Whether it is intricate French knots or Zardozi work, these techniques require a steady hand and a deep understanding of fabric. We specifically choose velvet and high-grade wools as our canvas because they hold this kind of heavy, detailed work without losing their shape.

### Designing Your Story

Most of the pieces in this gallery—like the black bandhgala with floral bouquets or the tuxedo with sequin wings—started as a conversation. You don't have to pick a design off the rack. If you have a motif that matters to you, bring it to our Defence Colony studio. We have worked on everything from antique swords to crown-wearing bees. It is about taking a classic garment and making it yours.

### Practical Advice for Owners

These pieces are delicate. Because the embroidery involves real metallic threads and silk, do not just toss them into a regular dry cleaning pile. They require professional care to ensure the thread doesn't fray. When you come in for your fitting, I will personally show you how to maintain the jacket so it stays looking sharp for years, not just for the wedding night.
