Because these light colors do not have the same contrast as traditional reds, the makeup has to be flawless. I focus on a dewy, skin-like base that brings out your natural glow so you look fresh, not washed out, in your photographs. When you choose a pastel or white lehenga, the rules of makeup change slightly. These colors are elegant and understated, but they can easily wash you out if the makeup is too flat. My approach for these looks is all about balance. I focus on bringing warmth back to the skin with cream-based products that reflect light, ensuring you look fresh even in bright daylight. For the eyes, I often use soft shimmer pigments that catch the light without looking heavy. If you are wearing an ivory or gold outfit, we need crisp, clean definition. I lean towards classic winged liners and neutral, warm tones on the lids that enhance your features without stealing the spotlight from your jewellery. For those lavender or pastel pink ensembles, I like to introduce soft, berry-toned lips or a bit of monochromatic blush to tie the whole look together. The goal is never to mask your features. It is to enhance them so that when you look back at your wedding photos, you see yourself, just a bit more radiant.
