Whether it is acting out a Spanish conversation or mastering French phonics, my approach is designed to get kids comfortable with making mistakes, which is where real learning happens. We keep batches small—typically 4 to 8 students—so your child is never lost in the crowd and always has the space to actually practice speaking rather than just listening to a lecture. ### A Different Approach to Language Many kids come to me afraid to speak a foreign language because they worry about getting the accent or the verb conjugation wrong. At NLI, we practice 'Wabi-Sabi'—we find the beauty in the imperfection of a learning curve. If a student trips over a word or struggles with a phonetic sound, we celebrate that effort. It is part of the growth process. ### How We Learn Together Our French and Spanish classes are built on three pillars: * **Small, Focused Batches:** With 4-8 students per group, no one is a silent observer.
