Instead, we decode Gen Z slang, analyze idioms, and quiz each other on global symbols. It keeps learning light and relatable, helping concepts stick naturally for the kids. ### Beyond Textbooks For me, language is not just a subject to be scored in; it is the primary tool for a child to express who they are. In my sessions at Rajouri Garden and online, we treat language as a living, breathing thing. We don't just learn definitions—we learn how words change, how slang evolves with every generation, and how to use English with confidence. ### Why This Approach Works Most kids find general knowledge and grammar boring because they are taught in isolation. My approach is different. We bring the world into the classroom. When we discuss Australian symbols or different types of ice cream, we are actually practicing public speaking, memory retention, and descriptive storytelling. We are learning how to be curious. ### What We Cover * **Vocabulary & Idioms:** We take 'all at sea' or 'piece of cake' and turn them into scenes we can act out or write about. * **Modern Language:** We keep it current. From understanding Gen Z slang to decoding chat abbreviations, we ensure kids are comfortable with the language they hear around them every day. * **Global Awareness:** We explore symbols, cultures, and facts from around the world to broaden their perspective beyond their school books. It is about building a foundation of confidence. Whether a child is 5 or 14, my goal is to help them find their own voice and feel comfortable articulating their thoughts, no matter the topic. ## About Nidhi Longani I’m Nidhi.
