When you book me for a session, I need a standard industry setup, specifically 2x Pioneer CDJs and a DJM 900 mixer, so we can focus on the groove instead of fighting with the gear. It ensures that the transitions are seamless and the energy stays high from the first track to the last. When I jump on the decks with another artist, we are not just playing songs. We are reading the room together, feeding off the crowd’s reactions, and surprising each other with track selections that neither of us might have played solo. Whether we are jamming at a club in Kolkata, a festival stage in Delhi, or a private event, that collaborative energy is what transforms a party into a moment you remember. My B2B sessions are heavily influenced by the disco and house sounds I’m known for, but adding a second pair of ears into the mix brings a fresh dynamic. It is why I’ve collaborated with artists like Farhan Rehman and Kampaimusic for setups like the Monkey Shoulder SYNC series. We don't just show up and press play; we build a narrative that bounces back and forth. If you are planning an event that needs this specific kind of collaborative chaos, I am all in. Just remember that because the performance relies on us being locked in, having the right technical rider is non-negotiable. I like to get a sense of the vibe you're after during our pre-gig chat, so if you have a specific sound in mind, whether it's soulful house or heavy disco, let me know. ## About Nida Merchant I’m Nida.
