Whether it is a multi-tiered castle with spiral staircases or a gravity-defying character piece, I build the internal supports first to ensure it remains stable throughout your party. It is not just about the aesthetic; it is about making sure that the delicate fondant finish and the hand-sculpted details remain perfect from the first reveal until the final slice. For me, a fairytale cake is a blend of professional French technique and pure, unadulterated childhood imagination. When you book a castle or character-themed cake, we begin with a collaborative design phase. We discuss your specific theme, the color palette, and the guest list size, ensuring the internal architecture—such as the food-grade dowels required for those towering, grand-scale castles—is robust and safe. I work primarily with Swiss Meringue buttercream for flavor-forward cakes or high-quality fondant to achieve those smooth, sharp edges required for detailed 3D work. Because these creations often involve intricate hand-sculpting, like a unicorn's mane or a castle's masonry, they require lead time and careful handling. I personally oversee the assembly and transport for larger, multi-tier builds directly from my kitchen in Ashok Nagar to ensure everything arrives in pristine condition. Whether you need a whimsical single-tier creation for a small gathering or an architectural centerpiece for 40+ guests, I approach each build as a new story. We can keep it classic with royal colors or get creative with a unique, custom-imagined fairytale world. ## About Neeth Medappa I am Neeth. After training at Le Cordon Bleu, I realized my favorite recipes come from the stories you tell me, not just textbooks. I love the challenge of taking a child’s obsession—like a specific fairytale castle or a unicorn dream—and building it, layer by layer, into something that actually tastes as good as it looks.
