Whether it involves intricate wrapping for a Maharashtrian nauvari saree look or placing a tiny peacock feather for a Krishna theme, I use soft, baby-safe fabrics and gentle, non-forced posing methods. This ensures your little one remains calm, cozy, and completely secure while we capture these cultural milestones. ### Bringing Tradition into the Frame Photography is more than just capturing an image; it is about documenting the values and traditions you want to pass down. My cultural and festive sessions are designed to reflect the warmth of Indian celebrations. Whether you are looking for a Navratri-inspired ghagra choli or a serene, Shiva-themed newborn session for the month of Shravan, I tailor the experience to your family's beliefs. ### The Creative Process Each festive setup is meticulously planned. I source premium, soft-texture fabrics that mimic traditional attire without irritating delicate newborn skin. My studio in Goregaon West, Mumbai, and Hinjewadi, Pune, is stocked with authentic props—from small 'makhan' pots for Janmashtami themes to traditional marigold garlands and brass elements. ### A Safe & Patient Environment Cultural themes often require more props than a standard portrait, which is why I never rush these sessions. - **Collaboration:** I encourage parents to bring their own heirloom items, like a special silver anklet or a family-handcrafted shawl, to make the shoot deeply personal. - **Adaptability:** Every baby has a different comfort level. If your baby is fussy, we shift to a simpler setup, ensuring the session remains relaxed and stress-free. - **Fine Art Editing:** My post-production process focuses on preserving the richness of the colors in the traditional costumes while maintaining soft, natural skin tones. Whether you are based in Mumbai or Pune, my studio provides a dedicated space where we can create these timeless, culturally rich memories in a calm, controlled environment. ## About Neelam Vyas I’m Neelam, and I believe our traditions are the first stories we tell our children.
