## About Party Starters: Snacks & Salads

My Singju is never pre-mixed. When you order, I hand-mix the fresh lotus stems, seasonal veggies, and those specific spicy powders just before packing. This simple step ensures you get the crunch and the punch of the herbs exactly as if you were sitting right here in my Humayunpur kitchen.

When you are hosting a gathering, the food should do more than just fill plates. It should be a conversation starter. My snack platters are built to bring that Northeast Indian energy to your party, whether you are planning a corporate lunch, a picnic, or an evening get-together at home. 

We start with the basics of Manipuri snacking. The star is definitely the Singju. It is not your standard garden salad. It is a complex mix of shredded lotus stems, raw papaya, and seasonal greens, brought to life with fermented fish paste and locally sourced spicy herbs. If you prefer non-veg, I can add shredded dried chicken or buffalo to give it that deep, smoky umami kick. 

Then there are the Boras. These are traditional fritters, fried until they are perfectly golden and crispy. They pair beautifully with Kelichana, which is a stir-fried chickpea preparation packed with herbs and spices. I often arrange these into our 'Relish Munch' baskets, lined with banana leaves for that authentic touch. 

Everything is pre-ordered, so your snacks arrive fresh. We use sealed containers to ensure that the texture stays right—no soggy fritters or wilted greens. If you have guests who have never tried Manipuri cuisine, these snack platters are the perfect, low-pressure way to introduce them to our flavors. It is food that invites people to linger, snack, and enjoy the vibe.
