Having played at the national level, I know exactly when a player is pushing their limit and when to step in to keep the match fair. Whether it is a corporate final or a school tournament, I bring that player’s instinct to every call I make, ensuring the spirit of the game stays high. ### My Approach to the Game I do not just officiate; I manage the flow of the match. My background as a Senior National Player and SAI NIS certified coach means I understand the game from the inside out. I know the rules, but I also know the pressure players feel when a close call is made. * **Fair Play with High Energy:** I believe in strict discipline on the court. My role is to maintain fairness, but I also encourage the 'josh' (energy) that makes volleyball exciting. * **Technical Expertise:** From checking net height and antenna placement to handling substitutions, I enforce FIVB rules with precision. * **Adapting to the Situation:** Whether I am refereeing a tense university final in Bangalore or a friendly corporate match, I adjust my style to fit the level of play, ensuring safety and professional standards are always met. ### Beyond the Whistle My life has been dedicated to this sport. You will see from my milestones—whether it is receiving a 'Best Blocker' award, leading a team to a state championship, or being invited as a Chief Guest to motivate young athletes—that I am deeply invested in the volleyball community. When you hire me for your event, you are getting someone who respects the sport, the players, and the rules. I am available for tournament officiating across Karnataka and can handle everything from local school meets to high-stakes league finals. ## About Naveen Kumar Shetty I have lived on the volleyball court for years—as a player, coach, and now, a referee.
